All kinds of granite and marble slabs, cut and polished in our own yard on Abu Road Highway. Tell us the stone you want, or just the room size, on WhatsApp: we reply with a photo of the actual slab and today's price.
More than 40 varieties stand in the yard, ready to ship, and more than 100 can be ordered. Here are a few; the full lists show every stone photographed so far, and you can ask for any other.
Tiles look good on the day they are laid. Then the grout lines darken, a chipped edge shows a different colour underneath, and the same printed pattern turns up again and again across the floor.
Granite and marble are one natural stone all the way through. This is how they compare in a home.
Tiles: A grout line every two to four feet, on the floor and on a kitchen counter. Grout darkens and holds dirt.
Granite and marble: Large slabs: a kitchen counter in one or two pieces, a floor with far fewer joints.
Tiles: A printed design, repeated tile after tile.
Granite and marble: Real stone, so no two slabs are alike. You see a photo of the actual slab before you buy it.
Tiles: A chip in a glazed or printed tile shows the plain body underneath. The tile has to be broken out and replaced.
Granite and marble: The colour runs right through the stone, so a chip or scratch is the same colour, and the face can be polished again.
Tiles: Worn tiles are broken out, and the same design is often no longer made.
Granite and marble: A worn floor or counter is re-polished where it lies and shines again.
One honest note: marble is softer than granite, and lemon, vinegar or acid cleaners dull its polish. For a kitchen counter choose granite; marble is at its best on floors, walls and in the pooja room. Granite or marble for an Indian kitchen.
Tell us the room and its size on WhatsApp. We send photos of slabs that suit it and today's price per square foot, so you can set it beside the tile quote you already have.
