Best used for
Telephone Black is a fine-grained black granite that takes an even, deep polish. It is used where a plain, consistent black is wanted: kitchen counters, stair treads, inlaid borders in a lighter floor, nameplates and memorials. It is slightly finer in grain than Madka Black, which gives it a smoother, more uniform face when polished.
Things to know
Like every polished black, it shows fingerprints, dust and scratches more than any other colour, and it reflects the room around it. If the surface will be used hard, consider a leather-finish black such as Black Lapatro. Seal once after fitting; black granite is dense and needs little else.
