Best used for
K Black is a dark granite with a black and charcoal ground broken by lighter grey patches and crystals. It reads as black from a distance but is more mottled up close, which makes it more forgiving than a plain black. It suits kitchen counters, stairs and floors where you want a dark stone that does not show every fingerprint and water mark.
Things to know
The grey patches vary in size and spread across the slab, so look at the slabs together before a large order. Dark granite is dense and needs little more than a seal after fitting. Like any dark polished stone it shows dust sooner than a light one, so a dry wipe after cleaning keeps it clear. Our photograph was taken in the yard and shows some reflection; ask on WhatsApp for a closer photo.
