Best used for
Diamond Brown is a dark brown granite with a close, even grain of brown, maroon and black crystals and a few lighter specks. It is a deep, warm stone that suits a kitchen counter with cream or wooden cabinets, a staircase, a pooja platform or a floor in a busy home. The tight speckle hides crumbs, dust and the odd scratch well.
Things to know
Dark brown granite is dense and resists stains better than a light stone; seal it once after fitting. The grain is small and regular, so joints between slabs are easy to lose on long counters and floors. The maroon tone can look stronger or weaker from slab to slab, so take the slabs for one job from a single lot. Our photograph was taken under an open shed; ask on WhatsApp for a daylight photo of the slab.
