Best used for
Teak Rainbow looks like a plank of polished teak: wavy bands of brown, cream and dark chocolate running the length of the slab. Use it where people will look at the stone: a wall behind a reception desk, a kitchen island, a dining table, a wide staircase riser, or a panel on the outside of a building. It also works as a border that frames a plain floor.
Things to know
Decide the grain direction before cutting and tell the fitter; a wood-grain stone laid the wrong way looks like a mistake. Because every slab is different, choose the actual slabs you will use and photograph them. Bookmatched pairs, where two consecutive slabs are opened like a book so the grain mirrors, make a striking wall; ask whether consecutive slabs are available in the current lot. The stone is a true granite and as hard-wearing as any plain colour.
