Who is responsible for your details
Selection Granite and Marble, GSTIN 24AEJFS9646D1ZR, trading as Selection Granite & Marble, Opp. Saibaba Temple, Abu Road Highway, Malan, Palanpur – 385001, Banaskantha, Gujarat, India. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 we are the "data fiduciary" for the details you give us.
What we collect, why, and for how long
- When you use the enquiry form: the form writes your details into a WhatsApp message on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in WhatsApp; after that it is the same as a WhatsApp message (next point).
- When you call or WhatsApp us: your phone number, your name if you give it, and what you write or tell us about the stone, quantity and site. We use it to answer you, send photographs and a price, and prepare a quotation.
- When you place an order: the name, phone number and delivery address needed to bill and deliver it, and the GST details you give us for the invoice.
- How long: enquiry details for as long as the enquiry or quotation is open and up to one year after it ends; order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (for GST records, at least six years). After that we delete them.
We do not sell your details, rent them, or add you to a marketing list.
Who else sees them
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Google, which shows the map on the home and contact pages (see "This website").
- A transporter, if we deliver your order: only the name, phone number and delivery address they need.
- Tax authorities, where the law requires it (for example GST invoices).
This website
The website itself sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no advertising or tracking scripts. If you use the shortlist, the stone names you tick are kept in your own browser only and are sent to nobody until you choose to send the list on WhatsApp.
The home and contact pages show a Google map of the yard. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. The "Open in Google Maps" button takes you to Google Maps itself.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what details we hold about you and who we have shared them with;
- correct, complete or update them;
- delete them, unless the law makes us keep them (for example invoices);
- stop using them: you can withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it, by a message or a call. Withdrawing does not undo what was done before;
- name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is for people buying stone and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect details of anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we use your details, we will update this notice and the date at the top.
