A stone yard on the highway, since 2002
Selection Granite & Marble is a granite and marble yard on Abu Road Highway, opposite Saibaba Temple, Palanpur. It was set up in 2002 and is run by Suresh Patel and Kailesh Patel, whose phone numbers are on this page.
Blocks are cut into slabs and polished here, and the slabs are sold to contractors, builders and families in Banaskantha and to the trade across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Anyone can come to the yard and see a slab before buying it.
Every photograph on this site was taken in our own yard, of our own slabs.
The yard
The yard has a cutter unit and a gangsaw unit. Rough blocks stand in the open yard; finished slabs stand under the shed, where you can look at them before you buy.
