Best used for
Crystal Brown is a grey-brown granite with large, rounded crystals ringed in white and broken up by dark grains. It is a mid-toned stone that sits between the greys and the browns, so it is easy to match with steel appliances, grey cabinets or wooden doors. It suits kitchen counters and backsplashes, flooring and staircases where a busy, mixed pattern helps hide daily use.
Things to know
The large crystals give each slab a lot of movement, so for a counter with more than one piece, see the slabs side by side and plan where the joints fall. It is a hard granite that resists scratches and heat; seal it once after fitting. The colour can look cooler grey or warmer brown depending on the light, so ask on WhatsApp for a daylight photo of the slab.
