Best used for
Chima Pink is a pink granite with a fine, even grain of pink-red, white and black crystals. The small, regular speckle makes it a calm stone for a whole-house floor, a staircase or a pooja room, and a kitchen counter that hides crumbs and water marks. It is warmer than the greys and lighter than a red, and it sits well with white cabinets and cream walls.
Things to know
The fine grain means joints between slabs are easy to lose, so it suits long counters and large floors. The pink can look softer or redder from lot to lot and under different lights, so ask on WhatsApp for a daylight photo of the slabs in the yard today. Seal it once after fitting; it is a hard granite and needs little else.
