Best used for
Aadhunik Lapatro is a dark grey granite with a fine salt-and-pepper grain of black and light grey, given a lapatro, or leather, finish: the face is brushed after cutting so it has a soft, slightly textured feel and a low sheen instead of a mirror shine. It suits a kitchen counter that is used hard, outdoor steps and paving, and floors where a polished stone would glare or be slippery.
Things to know
A leather face is more open than a mirror polish, so seal it before oils and curry go on it. The texture holds a little more dirt than polished stone, but it releases with a damp cloth. The matte face hides fingerprints, water spots and small scratches far better than a polished dark granite. In our photographs the slab is under a shed and catches the light unevenly; ask on WhatsApp for a closer photo.
