Best used for
Rosy Pink is a pink granite with a medium grain of rose, pale grey and black crystals. It gives a room a warm colour without the depth of a red, and it is a familiar choice in Indian homes for flooring, staircases, dining table tops and pooja room platforms. On a kitchen counter the mix of pink and black hides crumbs, water marks and fine scratches well.
Things to know
Pink granite is hard and holds a polish for years with little care; seal it once after fitting. The shade of pink changes from block to block, from a pale rose to a deeper salmon, so for a full floor take the slabs from one lot and look at them together. Under warm yellow lights it will read pinker than it does in daylight, so ask on WhatsApp for a daylight photo of the slab before you decide.
