Best used for
Imperial Pink is a salmon-pink granite with large, closely packed crystals and patches of dark grey between them. It has more colour and a coarser grain than Rosy Pink, so it suits a surface that should look warm and lively: a bathroom vanity, a kitchen counter with wooden cabinets, a staircase or a floor in a hall or temple. It also works outside on steps and wall panels.
Things to know
The large grain makes it a busy stone, which is good for hiding dust and marks but means a long counter or floor will show some movement from slab to slab; choose the slabs together. It is a hard granite and needs only a seal after fitting and a wipe with a damp cloth. For outdoor steps, ask about a flamed or leather face, which grips better than polish when wet.
