Best used for
Panther Black is a black granite with a fine grain and small white and grey specks scattered across the face. It looks like a plain black from across the room, but the specks break up the surface enough to soften fingerprints and water marks. It suits kitchen counters, stair treads, floors and wall panels where a deep black is wanted.
Things to know
The white specks are small and spread out, so it still shows dust and scratches more than a light granite; plan on a regular dry wipe on a polished counter. It is a dense, hard granite and needs only a seal after fitting. The number of specks varies from slab to slab, so choose the slabs together for a long counter or a large floor.
