Best used for
Madka Black is a dense black granite that polishes to a mirror. It suits a black kitchen counter, stair treads with a contrasting lighter riser, and borders in a pale marble floor. It also suits modern kitchens with handleless cabinets.
Things to know
A polished black face is the least forgiving surface there is: it shows every fingerprint, water drop and scratch, and it shows dust within a day. If the counter will be used hard, consider a leather-finish black such as Black Lapatro instead, or plan on a daily wipe with a dry cloth.
