Best used for
Chicko Brown is a warm, busy brown granite with large dark flecks, close to the colour of chikoo fruit. It is a forgiving stone for a kitchen: the mix of brown, black and grey hides crumbs, water marks and the odd scratch. It is also a traditional choice for pooja room platforms and for flooring in a busy home.
Things to know
Because the pattern is strong, two slabs from different blocks can differ noticeably in how dark the flecks are. For a kitchen that uses more than one slab, see the slabs side by side at the yard before cutting. Polished brown granite is low maintenance, but like all granite it is best sealed once after fitting.
